Coming on this study
abroad trip, I didn’t really have any expectations. All I knew is that I wanted to have fun since I just graduated,
with three credits left to take abroad, and London seemed like the perfect
place to take them. I didn’t know
much about the city, or the people in it, outside of them having a queen,
guards who won’t move no matter how much you temp them, deep accents, and this
being the place where my favorite childhood group originated, the Spice
Girls. With that being said, I
came here with a completely open mind, ready to explore! Thankfully, taking the traveling course
helped me with going deeper into my understanding of the British, by exploring different readings, traveling, reflecting, and writing.
